Wow what a day! Hiking in a mountain sounds like my sort of thing, I remember doing a few that I really enjoyed in the warmer months of the Alps (Austria). However, biking on a mountain sounds terrible! I'm familiar with the biking here in Netherlands, no gears (max 3) and no hills... that is my sort of biking! Anything more, and I would die!
