ULOG: 06 "Wild Musi Rawas Civet Coffee Promoted in Europe"

Wild Civet Coffee Selangit, from Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province began to expand and become the attention of the European market.
This type of coffee is praised by European coffee experts, Sara Datuk from JavaNusa and the Indonesian Embassy in Belgium because it has its own unique aroma.
Sara Datuk is a JavaNusa Co-Founder based in Brussels, Belgium. After inhaling the aroma of coffee powder which was nicely packed, he immediately learned that the coffee was wild civet coffee and had a high and different taste image.
Musi Rawas Regent Hendra Gunawan had a discussion with Datuk related to Selangit wild civet coffee and superior products of Musi Rawas Regency. On that occasion, the Regent hoped that Javanusa could facilitate the promotion of Musi Rawas coffee in Europe, especially in Belgium.
Aside from Datuk, Hendra also expects the Indonesian Ambassador to Belgium Yuri O Thamrin and his staff to also promote this product, so that it can be better known and enter the European market.
"Wild civet coffee Selangit is traditionally processed and its basic ingredients are taken directly from nature so that the production is not as much as the mongoose that is bred. So that both the aroma and the taste image will be different and have their own peculiarities and have different selling points," Hendra said in a statement on Saturday. (1/9/2018).
With the introduction of Musi Rawas regency products, continued Hendra, this will be the opening gate for the Musi Rawas innovation products to enter Europe and become an opportunity to increase the selling value of local products, which in the end can be realized.
Belgium is the third country visited by Hendra with a group that joined in APKASI to study in four countries from 28 August to 6 September 2018. Two countries that have been visited include the Netherlands and Germany.
After coming from Belgium, Hendra will leave for France. The visit of this Head of Region is not only to conduct a study, but also to promote regional potential, so that it can be an opportunity to establish cooperation with European countries.
