Zelensky's speech yesterday marking Ukraine's independence day and announcing their new missile drone Palianytsia was filmed just northeast of Sumy close to the Russian border across from Sudzha in Kursk oblast.
What a show of subtle power.
The Russians had intended to swiftly assassinate Zelensky in the first days of the invasion and topple the government causing the collapse of Ukrainian society. Zelensky has been the target of Russian hit squads throughout the war.
But here he defiantly stands once again near another place of Ukrainian victory.
