RE: Сезонні смаколики😁 🌽 🍒

They won't let you eat pizza in peace?

They won't let me do anything in peace!!

My youngest is 4 and eldest is 7. They're hard work but they're good boys most of the time. Especially when the-mrs-gorilla is at work 😆 Why are they naughty for their mummy??

We get 2.5 days per week free childcare so that's good. Our youngest starts school in September so then they'll be at school together which will be another big change. He can't wait!

Luckily, we haven't had a "why" phase with the youngest. We definitely did with the eldest but fortunately, it didn't last too long. And we haven't had the "where do babies come from?" question yet. My wife's a doctor and that sounds like a medical question to me 😉

At 4 years old, my eldest daughter tells me what to do and what I'm doing wrong 😆

They're very good at that. It's always very amusing 😆

My husband and I sometimes think why we have no free time for anything, no time for me and my husband, no strength and then no desire. And how it was before, when we were children. Is it really like that for everyone? And then we decided that after all, when there are kindergartens and grandmothers help with children, it is worth a lot.

Well, okay, even the question of where children come from, the older one saw that the younger one was in the belly. But her question of how the sister got there and how she got out, still caught me off guard😬

I think if the kids were at school all day, then my husband would work for a few weeks when they come home so that we could just be together. Even if it's a couch, a movie, and popcorn 😂

I was once told that boys are more active than girls, but looking at my girls I start to doubt 🤣

How convenient it is when the wife is a doctor - how much fewer issues there should be with hospitals and treatment in general 👍

You probably specifically chose a doctor's wife to make life easier for the whole family?😂

Is it really like that for everyone?

For us, that's almost certainly true. My wife works and I look after the children for most of the week. When I'm not looking after them, there are jobs to be done - all of the cleaning, shopping, etc. and then it's time to collect them again! Being a parent is relentless!

Our parents (the grandparents) all live too far away to help - we've never had a "Plan B" if we couldn't do something so we've always had to do it. I think that we've lost our minds but there's nobody to check for us 😆

Even if it's a couch, a movie, and popcorn 😂

Sometimes, that's enough. the-mrs-gorilla is also studying so we don't even get that... by 8pm when the boys are finally asleep, she studies... weekends we're either going somewhere or she's studying... I like having time on my own but it's never really time on my own.

Being a parent is hard.

I've definitely noticed that the girls talk more 😆

In theory, that's true. In reality, it's the most frustrating thing in the world. She's incapable of diagnosing anything in our own home. If somebody cuts their finger, she's clueless. She'll ask me "What should we do?" I'll always recommend calling an ambulance or if things look really bad, the mortuary. I sometimes wonder how she gets dressed in the morning... I'm obviously too busy to notice!

I have a friend with a sense of humor like yours. About an ambulance or a morgue right away, this is humor that illuminates my mom's brain😁 A friend whom I sometimes call a good psychologist. Because in stressful situations, such humor invigorates😂👍

In fact, this is probably true. A cook at work does not like to cook at home, because at home it is an extension of work and you want to relax. And your wife cannot treat her family with the same cold-blooded brain as a patient. But work and study is just WOW. I understand that she does this to grow up the career ladder - this is wonderful. But when we are parents for a while for a husband and wife there is already very little, almost none. Household chores, work and children take up an insane amount of time 😬 But I hope that when she finishes studying she will become a super boss. She will allow you to go to the Maldives on the weekend where the children are busy and you and your wife will have time for each other ❤️ 🫶 At least I would like this for all parents 😂

Girls never keep silent, even when they can't talk yet 🤣 We basically have the same story with girls and grandmothers. Only my grandfather (husband @tinochka2) now trades at the market and before that he helped me and the girls a lot while my husband worked. Well, he needed it so as not to think about grief.

I used to think that being a parent was much easier, oh how wrong I was 🤣🤣🤣 Every day I dream of going to work to rest a little 🤣

Oh wow! Can you imagine that? It's a bit far for just a weekend, I'd need to stay for at least a couple of weeks. We went there on our honeymoon... oh, how I'd love to go back!

Ha ha! This is so true! I get some funny looks when I say that "full-time parent is the hardest job I've ever done". And then a simple question of "does your boss sit in the toilet with you?" to demonstrate how relentless the role is!

I have never been there, so it remains a dream😁 I wish you and your wife to repeat this wonderful vacation in a heavenly place😁

And then a simple question of "does your boss sit in the toilet with you?"

This is a real sore subject 🤣 I'm happy that they've grown up and at least I don't have to take my boss to the toilet with me 😳 It's really inconvenient and the feeling that you don't have a minute of personal time and no place to be with yourself is just depressing. But when these aren't your children, it's even funny 😂 Especially when you play with other people's children and leave 😂 My friend had a door for her cat. The cat goes to his toilet, which is next to the toilet. Imagine my surprise and fear (especially since this was the time when I didn't have children yet) when her one and a half year old child climbs his head into this toilet door when I'm there 🤣🤣🤣 At first I screamed and then laughed. How come my son wasn't scared of my scream and didn't get his head stuck, he's probably used to this kind of reaction 🤣🤣🤣

We were quite old when we decided to have children. We said that if we couldn't have children for any reason, we'd go to the Maldives every year. I love our boys but I want to drink beer here again...

🫢 Fortunately, I haven't had that experience! It's bad enough when one decides that they desperately need a poo and sit down on the potty next to you! Even at 4yo, it's not unusual for something to be really important!
