Wealth upon greed

It was today I remembered I was a fool. Today I knew I had come out of the blue

Everyone was stunned.
I could feel the eyes on turned
I was wrong
They wanted me dead
The people I went to sow seeds for looked upon me with dread

Colours in thier faces never showed
Except they had done something like stealing gold

Torn apart by the sight
I realized no man wealthy would have constant light
And that if all men stood with fear
It was Because life had paid double my fare
