UGC NET 2021 Application (Ongoing for December 2020 & June 2021), Exam Dates (Announced), Eligibility (Upper Age Limit Updated), Exam Pattern, and More

University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) official notification for December 2020 and June 2021 has been released on the UGC official website. UGC NET application process has been started on August 10, 2021. the last date to apply for the exam is September 05, 2021.

Candidates with 55% in the Master's Degree are eligible to apply. Final year students are also eligible to appear in the exam. For the candidates who are applying for JRF, the upper age limit is 30 years while there is no age limit for the post of Assistant Professorship.

There are 2 papers in the UGC NET 2021 exam for both JRF and AF posts. Candidates can choose the subject of Paper 2 whereas the UGC NET Paper 1 is mandatory for all candidates. There is no negative marking for writing answers. the obtained marks in both papers will be considered for the final merit list.
