Setting boundaries

You must set the tone of how people treat you by loving yourself in your thoughts, heart and actions.

I used to be the kind of person who wanted to be everything for everyone, but that always left me extremely exhausted while neglecting myself. You can be taken for a real crazy ride.

There is a tendency for most of us to over extend ourselves in which we end up neglecting ourselves.

The most freeing lesson is learning how to set boundaries. For those that do not respect them, maybe it’s time to cut those ties.
