MASSIVE STEEMIT MEETUP SOON HAPPENING

It is our pleasure to introduce the upcoming steemit which will be held at Centenary park Kampala/ Uganda. The aim will be to regenerate effort and sensitize new steemians through the art of blogging and steem investment. This has been the goal of team Uganda for a while and has yielded great result for a year now. The number of people joining the steemit community grew up for a while and that was a great pleasure from the team.

We intend to bring more steemians to the community and sensitizing the youth bout this wonderful opportunity available through the steem blockchain. Newbies will have to learn about cryptocurrency, its composition and impact to the lower income communities. In Africa wher most people live below a dollar per day, the steem blockchain could be a solution towards reducing poverty level in Africa. We do believe in that and its ability to solve community problems.

The steem blochchain is a wonderful innovative platform, both helpful for blogers and investors. At this point of time where the steem value is on the through, we believe that this could be the best time to invest into the steem blockchain. This may look simple but considered as a great treasure in the future. If we look at the trend of Bitcoin while comparing both this year and last years graph, all we can see are graph similarities. The fall in value of cryptocurrencies is not new and an opportunity for investors and speculators.

Team Uganda intends to be a dominant platform for the steem blockchain. Sometimes back, it was hard for people to understand that they could get paid from what they wrote and their time spent online. It was a bit tricky to explain that to the community. However, modernization and technology made it possible for people to understand. The rise of online businesses, online shoppings had immense impact in people’s understanding on the functionality of the steem blockchain.

The horizon of focus are Urban areas and mostly among students environment. Students were had that great impression towards learning various opportunities available online and some did try to research more about steemit. In Uganda, at Uganda Christian University where by more than half of the steemit community are part off, got to know about this platform and that made promotion inside and outside the university easy for the steemit promoters.

Intense work is yet to come and we believe in the power of promotions through meetups, social media posts and street promos will make it possible. Few months ago, the steemit community did move to the streets, finding street sellers, businessmen, unemployed young people and other variety of people of which they shared their views concerning this amazing platform.
