Agreement with Jarau Moses and Yohan Onyeli V1.0
Agreement with Jarau Moses and Yohan Onyeli V1.0
On 2018/04/06 Jarau Moses, Yohan Onyeli and Achim Mertens met at Vision for Africa to think about how to make Steemit great in Uganda.
These are our meeting minutes and our agreement:
- Agreement between Jarau Moses, Yohan Onyeli and Achim Mertens
- Achim Mertens gives Jarau Moses 75 € in SBD between the 15. and the 25. of each month, starting with April 2018. This money is used for facilitations (flyers, T-Shirts, taxi, meetup-breakfasts,...). Jarau shall post the bills in public that he got for buying these facilitations at least once before the 15. of each month, so Achim can see, for what the money was used for.
- Jarau and Yohan go to people and write about it. There are lot of possibilities to reach the people:
- Give flyers in the streets, in the cities and talk to the people.
- Have meetups regularly at the same place. For example have breakfast and talk about steemit.
- Go from door to door and give flyers and talk to the people
- Go into Universities like UCU,... distribute flyers in front of their gates, go into the classes and teach about steemit before lecture begins.
- Yohan can give tennis-lessons and afterwards he can talk about steemit
- ...
- Achim checks weekly posts from Jarau and Yohan (and gives correspondingly upvotes and comments).
- Once a month Jarau, Yohan and Achim should have a video- or a conf-call (if possible) on Discord Chat.
- This agreement is valid for at least three month. We have to check whether it is worth going on like this.
- We have to be aware, that steemit maybe is not the everlasting solution. Maybe we have to switch the community into another, better cryptobased system.
- Some answers to most frequently questions:
- Where does the money come from?
- Some rich people believe in Steemit, so they invest for example with US-Dollar in it. We just change it back.
- Every time a new value is created (for example a house), then a bank creates money for it. With steemit it is similar. A good post is also a value.
- Steemit prints money. But, in comparisation to FIAT, this inflation rate is fixed in the code and cannot arbitrarily be changed by a small group of rulers.
- What is the motivation/benefit to talk about steemit?
- We want to help others to earn some money, create communities, make public agreements,...
- We believe in cryptocurrency. It has a lot of advantages and is independend of FIAT-money.
- Blockchain will change the world. If Africa is used to it before others, then it is better developed then the rest of the world.
- We need a story to post. It could also be anything else like planting flowers or collecting letter stamps.
- Where does the money come from?
- We should track our success somehow. Is it possible to count the numbers of Uganda-Steemians?
@Jaraumoses + @Yohan2on: Please confirm this agreement in the comments (and resteem it).
Regards, Achim
Agreement confirmed and thanks for the support and love you have decided to bestow towards Uganda.
Vielen Dank, mein Herr(i used Google translate hahaha)
Vielen Dank zurück ;-)
I have changed the tag.
Let me now resteem it to my friends so that they can see the good work you are doing here in Uganda
Agreement confirmed. Yes it is possible to count the numbers of Uganda steemians and this will indeed help us to track our progress.
Can you tell me how?
btw. I will be probably offline the next 2-3 days.
Regards, Achim
http://steemsql.com. This is the link to that software. But it requires a monthly subscription of 10SBD or a 1day subscription of 1 SBD to use its service.
There is a software that was designed to help those promoting steemit in finding out these numbers. Let me check it out to be sure and give a clear explanation of how it operates.
Thank you for helping this community. I gave you a nice vote to acknowledge what you are doing & help defray the cost.
Thank you very much!!!
Regards, Achim
Nice work
Great ideas, thanks for the updates. I buy it
Agreement confirmed
It takes a will to talk to people about steemit, but it takes enthusiasm, love and responsibility for achim to invest, follow up and review results about steemit promotion in Uganda 🇺🇬
Thanks to Achim
