The UFO Phenomena! Part 1 (Update)

This will be part one in a series of blog posts on the UFO Phenomena or Unidentified Flying Objects. This is one of the most controversial conspiracies theories of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. Especially with the age of cell phones and in the last two years, thousands of people from all the world have witnessed and recorded these strange unknown crafts that seem to defy the laws of conventional physics. These UFO's have many different shapes ranging from triangle's to cigars and in between. The controversy behind this phenomena is whether they are man-made or Extraterrestrial Biological in origin. What isn't in dispute and this goes back to the investigations, especially by the United States Air Force in projects Sign, Grudge and Blue Blook is that approximately ten percent of all UFO cases cannot be explained.

The history of modern UFO cases goes back to the legendary UFO crash of the 1940's at Roswell New Mexico. In 1947 it was on July 8th, 1947 that the RAAF (The U.S. Air Force was part of the U.S. Army) reported that they captured an Unidentified Flying Object of unknown origin.

However, after the story broke to the press, the army came out and changed the report and states it was a top-secret weather balloon. However, a few years earlier during the height of WWII, what became known as the Battle of Los Angeles took place in 1942. Gun batteries in the Los Angeles area opened fire on an unknown aircraft that appeared to be shell proof and withstood the barrage. Here is an image from the Battle of LA
