I would be willing to suggest no - it seems illogical to me, that in all the span of the universe, if you had the ability to travel anywhere you would go on some sort of hostile crusade to eliminate a species you have never met, for no particular reason.
That said, we humans do go out recreational hunting animals for no particular reason other than fun, so, who knows.
