Anthony Pettis Moves up to Welterweight to Fight Stephen Thompson on March 23

Stephen Thompson and Anthony Pettis have verbally agreed to a welterweight bout for the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s upcoming visit to Nashville on March 23. I am a big fan of both fighters, however, I do not like Anthony Pettis moving up in weight. Pettis has lost 6 of his last 10 matches 3 of which were by stoppage. He has been at Lightweight and Featherweight and now he goes up to Welterweight. I think he is going to be undersized at welterweight. Stephen is a big guy with great footwork and speed. Pettis is going to have a hard time with this. Stephen has lost two of his last ten both by decision.
