Nate Diaz believes Conor McGregor ‘has a great chance’ to beat Floyd Mayweather

While the popular opinion is that Conor stands no chance at beating the self-proclaimed "TBE" in a boxing match, Conor's former opponent Nate Diaz seems to believe otherwise. Maybe Nate took too many punches to the head, but then again, his opinion is certainly more valuable than most, as he actually fought Conor... twice.

It is worth mentioning that Nate is one of the better boxers in the UFC, maybe one of the best. Both him and his brother, Nick Diaz, have overwhelmed many opponents on the feet using their superior boxing. Nate has fought Conor for 25 minutes almost entirely on the feet. Also during the fight, Conor was primarily using his hands as kicks posed the risk of leaving him open for a takedown. He knows Conor's boxing more than any of us.

I fought Conor for 25 minutes, I believe he’s definitely going to have a chance. Fighting and beating the best boxer pound for pound in the world right now? That’s another story but a fight’s a fight and we’re going to have to watch and see what happens. Hopefully it will be a hell of a fight

Diaz is actually furious at all the non-fighters being so sure of their predictions. He insists no one actually knows expect for the fighters, and he may have a point.
