Archbishop Desmond Tutu on the Concept of Ubuntu
Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a South African Anglican cleric and activist, is credited for popularizing the concept of Ubuntu. This concept means, "I am because we are."
In my experience, life is about the experience of us all. I show up in life, and am able to live life, because of the people around me. They motivate and support me. My life shows there's no experience of an individualistic life. It takes a team of people to keep me going. As the old adage goes, "You can do it without me, but I can't do it without you all."
