Mining Ubiq & Siacoin with Claymore Dual Ethereum Miner w/ NVIDIA GPU
The purpose of this tutorial is to show you how simple it is to setup a dual miner for Ubiq & Siacoin. I currently mine both of these coins to my Bittrex account as I already have a ton of wallets, but I will link you to both wallets also.
Pre-requisites:
Claymore Dual Eth Miner (AMD & Nvidia)
Visual C++
Optional:
MSI Afterburner (For overclocking Nvidia GPUs)
Wallets: (Not required if mining to exchange)
Ubiq (I prefer Fusion for Windows 10)
Siacoin (Sia-UI contains wallet and other features)
Exchanges that support both coins:
Bittrex (I mine to here, better for day trading)
Cryptopia (Less volume, usually lower prices if buying, do not support mining to the exchange)
Pools: (There are more but these are the two I recommend. This is also where you’ll see your mining stats)
UbiqPool
SiaMining
First thing we need to do is get your wallet addresses:
If using the Ubiq Fusion wallet – Add account and create a new account
If using the Sia-UI wallet – Go to wallet – new wallet and create your wallet
If using Bittrex - Login to your account, type in Ubiq under “Search:” then click the plus button – Generate new address. Copy this down somewhere. Do the same for Siacoin
Now that you have downloaded Claymore and setup wallets or exchange accounts, you must create a batch file to run the miner.
- Open the directory that you have download Claymore – Unzip folder
- Go into the main directory where you’ll see multiple .dll .txt. and EthDcrMiner64.exe
- Right click – New – Text Document
a. Name this UBQ-SC - Open UBQ-SC – Click File – Save As
- Under File name: type UBQ-SC.bat
- Under File type: hit the down arrow and click All Files - Save
This will save your file as a batch file. Now you can begin to put in your code.
Copy/Paste this into your notepad:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool ubiqpool.io:8008 -ewal YourUbiqWalletAddress -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://siamining.com:7777 -dwal YourSiacoinWalletAddress -dcoin sia -dcri 20 -allcoins 1
Now simply replace YourUbiqWalletAddress with your Ubiq address and YourSiacoinWalletAddress with your Siacoin address and Save.
For more information about what each command does, you can simple read the “ReadMe!!!.txt” file in the Claymore directory. You can use these commands to make your miner perfectly fine tuned.
You’re good to go! Simply exit out of the batch file then double click UBQ-SC.bat and begin mining!!
In order to check your up to the minute stats on both pools, click the links under “Pools” earlier in this tutorial and paste your wallet addresses in each corresponding pool. (Protip: Once you click enter with your address in there, save the link as a bookmark for easy access).

Interesting post. Interesting to see I'm not the only one that is thinking about this. The coin market will be turbulent for the upcoming year(s) but I really believe in it. I was researching a way to do better investment analysis on the current cryptos. This is quite an interesting website I found: https://www.coincheckup.com The site is my go to place for crypto investment analaysis and indepth coin research.
