Uber launch a self-managed machines for the carriage of passengers by September 2016

Testing of the project will start at the US Pittsburgh. During testing "on line" will be released modified Volvo XC90s. According to the demand of the law, driving a car will always be a driver in the car will ride co-pilot, who will take notes while moving.

The Volvo deal isn’t exclusive. In July the company reached an agreement to buy Otto, in about $ 680 million, who developed a system of self-management for trucks.

Customers will request cars the normal way, via Uber’s app, and will be paired with a driverless car at random. Trips will be free for the time being, rather than the standard local rate of $1.30 per mile.
