PAYPAL IN THE UAE
In case you don't know, UAE(Dubai) PayPal has for a while now stopped PayPal accounts domiciled with them from RECEIVING payments as FAMILY/FRIENDS /GIFT.
They originally never allowed sending out funds as FAMILY /FRIENDS /GIFT.
A personal PayPal account type require 24 hours transaction which is unimaginably irritating and when one transfers a PayPal balance in bank account its shows an error (The service is available only for PayPal Business account in UAE). Now the only option is to change the account type from personal to business and which means every transaction require 14 days.
What's with the UAE 🇦🇪and PAYPAL anyway???
This can be answered in one word: Politics.
Any time an international financial deal occurs, both governments have to be involved in some way, shape, or form. And you can bet at least one government is dragging their heels along the way.
And if it's not the government, it's the banks.
It's sickening for the masses tho, especially those who trade online. I don't know if they've gawt a substitute for PayPal.
They really don't, which sucks.
Sorry for them... They are being shut outta the system in my own opinion.
