U-log #2 - Reaching Out to the Future of this Generation

Today, I am truly excited to participate and blend once again to the trend of Mr. @surpassinggoogle 's well-established u-log. So far, as I made a quick reviews of the entries of my fellow steemians, I found out that indeed they are really passionate about doing it, so I as well might try to narrate my own second version of this widely popular u-log.

In my previous posts if you have observed, I am really passionate when it comes to dealing with people in whatever walks of life they be. They may be in music, in school, in church and in the community, still that passion in me never dies down to communicate with these people. Folks, this is not to put perfume on my name and make a sweet fragrance of aroma to you, but indeed this is what God himself has truly blessed me. With that saying, allow me to share to you how this one of a kind experience touch and affect me as a real man.

Summer is supposed to be the time to go out and feel relaxed with the beautiful sea breeze. Beach outing, banana boat, surfing and among others are some of the activities we all commonly look forward during this summer. However, as for me this is not the way.

I had the priviledge to be part of empowering young children once again to desire the beauty of learning. Here in this local barrio, we gathered children from aged 3 to 13 years old to be actively part in this outreach program of mentoring the young generation. We firmly believe that if they are properly trained on their early stage then they will grow and possess these values taught on them. They will be respectful, helpful, a catalysts and a help to the community. Therefore, we just got even more passionate in reaching out to this young generation.

Here are a glimpse of these joyous and awe-inspiring shots with them:

First, we allow these young children express themselves freely by coloring the drawings of their favorite bible character. With this, we are able to catch their attention and be engage to our next activity which is now the teaching and mentoring.

There you go, with them passionately engage to the activities done, they were all busy brainstorming on how are they going to demonstrate God's love on them through a creative drawing. Indeed this is a good sight to reminesce from them.

This group is very much active that they were able to quickly conceptualize their artwork. With Carla as their leader, indeed she is leading them by drawing first on the cartolina. Such a very resilient child.

And here now is our team busy all around guiding the brilliant ideas of these young children who were all caught engaged on the activities. If there's one scenario that we should all be thankful of despite disorganizations, then this must be exactly the scenario we all desire for - it's seeing children leaping for learning.

Claire, a 3-year old girl, casts the first move in taking the snacks before the activities were done. Anyway, she also made her participation during the dance presentation. Such a lovely sight right?

And as we finished the day with them, we left them first with something that would somehow put a smile on their faces. Truly folks, moments like these are ones that satisy soul. It feels more of like a real man everytime you affect lives.

Folks, the life we live in is filled with beauty that is waiting to be unveiled. But that beauty is not found in us, rather it's found on the life laid unto others. You want a proof? Then cast your vision on the Cross.
