Blog-post. Typing practice!
Hello, and welcome back to another blog post!
As you know already, I need some extra sources of income. I have tried to write few articles but those have always been bad. I figured that my biggest weakness at the moment is my typing speed and skills. Luckily a simple google search found me a site where I can practice speed and accuracity of my keyboard typing. I will now try to practice there for some time, hopefully improving my typing skill so that I could then improve my blog-posts in the future.

My first attempts to type were very clunky. Alltough it got much better towards the end, there was still alot room to improve.

I felt like my fingers had not used to jump around like that, alltough the test was only giving me random "words" with very small variety of letters.

"T" and "O" were some of the letters I had most problem with. I also seemed to build some kind of patterns on my writing, making me hit "N" on words that did not contain it..png)
I hope that practicing typing could help me to find more sources of income in the future besides steemit, unless this place explodes with growth.
I will propably practice a little more today and try to post some updates in the future. Upvote!

Writing is important because it can either attract someone or make them leave . Skills are also important to have . I couldn’t even speak English before and now I write blog posts , keep it up my friend
This is a really cool tool. I played around a bit and while I know that I can write at a nice speed and never look at the keys, the test is designed to push you even further - it would be easier if it were actual words all the time.
I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to improve their typing skills.

ooo...am super slow to. but a notes just by being here on steemt make me go faster. a think a gaming blog is a good idea, or game related.
Keep it up! Typing is one of those curves that once you start improving, you improve faster and faster. It's pretty remarkable. I remember being a kid and always trying to out-type everybody my age. I don't really know why- kind of dumb, but I think it had some positive long term effects
You can always practice your typing speed by writing posts on here, as well. Game news or something like that. That would provide you with a small amount of extra income while practicing :)
I have been thinking about making gaming related posts here. Issue just is that I have to look at what I am typing or my typing gets very bad, which causes me to forget what the heck I was even typing.
I can see how that's an issue, haha. Either way, you could take it slow, and it will pick up over time. A lot of why I am here is to practice writing skills and I think it's been helping a lot.
I say give it a shot! Not really any downside. I'd also love to read what you have to say
Funny you mention this - I used to be an index finger tapper for years, even as an IT tech growing up. It wasn't until my junior year of high school that I took a typing class and ended up being able to type at quite a high WPM count.
Keep practicing at it, and you'll get the hang of it! It's definitely a useful skill to have, that's for damn sure.
Does using #in the actual blog-post add that tag there? I was wondering why one of my posts with 0 gaming relation got that tag there.
I've heard it does, so it's another way to skirt the 5 hashtag limit that Steemit imposes. Not sure if there's any sort of penalty or what-not, though. It's odd how DLive will allow a massive amount of hashtags though with 0 issue.
As far as I am aware of, any tags beyond five do not count at all. You used to be able to put as many tags as you wanted to D.tube, but all tags past 5 were not in effect, or atleast I got told so. Well, things are bit shady how they excactly work around here though + I heard that some apps can't even utilize tags when you use search.
