Types of remote work

Remote work refers to a way of working remotely from a physical office, and that can be from home or anywhere else (a café, a family member's home, a co-working, etc.). The basic requirements are a mobile device and a good internet connection,which will vary the need for speed according to the tasks.

There are different ways to work remotely. Some of them are:

Home office:

It consists of having a fixed office, but with the ability to work from home occasionally. According to data from a Telework study, this is one of the types of telework implemented by more than 50% of companies in Latin America, and is an option provided by organizations to be more flexible with their collaborators.

100% remote work:

This model is used by only 15% of organizations in Latin America, and consists of the possibility to work from anywhere, as long as you have the necessary technological tools.

I work from a different office than the head office:

There are some companies that have different offices, and their collaborators can work in them. This also happens when they are jobs where you have to travel a lot and attend different locations in the organization.
