Typeearn NEO integration, and the plan for Hive.
Hello, great people of Typeearn,
We like to apologize for not communicating with the community on our plans for a while. This is because of many uncertainties that happened with the new Steemit owner and the community. There is no community without the people and we are forced to move forward.
Aside from this, there have been issues onboarding users on the Typeearn project. The nature of the project is to allow people to create an account with no stress. We have encountered many problems dealing with Steem, and how to explain Steem to many people. Our potential users are mostly schools/kids aside from the investors that are mining the TPC token.
The Typeearn project is a company and there are board members deciding on what is best for the project. After several deliberations from the board, we moved Typeearn off the Steem blockchain. The Hive would have been the place to move directly, but because Typeearn need a smart contract and real token contract which is not currently possible on Hive. Also, the board like to improve the user base of the app, and we had to look for a blockchain where account opening will be instant, and where we can work with our Auth.
The Neo blockchain accepts this, and we have been building on it with no issues. We are almost done with the integration, tentatively, Typeearn should be live on Neo in 3 weeks. Neo allow us to create our Auth and simple integration of wallets, which is exactly what we need on Typeearn.
Multichain?
Our love for the Hive community remains, and we cannot leave. We will consider making Typeearn a multichain project once we are fully functional on the Neo Blockchain. We will look at a protocol for our tokens to be used in both Neo and Hive. This is already on our list of plans, and it will happen soon.
Type coin (TPC) token holders.
Type coin (TPC) will be Typeearn Token (TPN) on the Neo blockchain. User’s investments and earnings on Steem will not go null. We will take a snapshot on the token holders in the next 10 days, May 15, at 11:00 UTC+1, and these tokens will be distributed to all our users as they open an account on our new Typeearn. We will make another publication to explain how the tokens will be distributed and the things users will do to get their tokens.
We are already talking with exchanges and Dex, and we are working to list Typeearn Token (TPN) in one or two exchanges by launch. This will help us function properly and more than we do on Steem

Very interesting, I'm keen to understand how these multi-chain projects work, is NEO your primary and the others secure their data in blocks with neo or how does this work?
Interesting update, I don’t discount that decision! I would be interested in the NEO chain, I will have to check it out. Look forward to when you can make the hive integration!
