Estimados amigos para sentarme con ustedes a tomar un delicioso café, primero les voy a mostrar de donde viene...
CAFETO (Coffea arabíca L.)
Originario de Abisinia y Arabia, se ha difundido por todos los países tropicales de América. En mi país Venezuela se cultiva principalmente en las cordilleras de la costa y de los andes. Según la historia lo introduce al país el padre (cura)José Antonio Mohedano en 1748.
Es una planta de porte bajo, podemos considerarlo un arbusto,
De flores blancas, fragantes y axilares
Fruto drupáceo, rojo al madurar, de un cm de diámetro, con dos semillas de color marrón (aquí verde)
Vamos a preparar Café
La borra la utilizo como afrodisíaco en lombricultura y como rejuvenecedor facial!
