"Twitter" equipped with a feature similar to "SnapChat"
A recent Bloomberg report revealed that Twitter is preparing to launch a new feature related to downloading and publishing video material close to the popular SnapChat service.
According to Bloomberg, the new Twitter feature will mainly focus on facilitating the sharing of videos on users of the site, almost like Snape Chat without revealing more details.
However, according to The Next Web, Twitter's new video feature will be closer to InStream, not Snape Chat, where Twitter will reduce the number of clicks a user has to share a video.
It is not the time when a social networking platform is accused of mimicking one of the characteristics of the application of short videos, "SnapChat", where the most prominent charges directed to Facebook and instagram in particular.
I dont like the idea of a Snapchat like addition to Twitter, it is busy enough
Sounds like they're just making it easier to share video on Twitter, rather than making a whole story-like interface a la Instagram.
This is good news. I think the easier it is to share content, the better.
