Herrrooo Dreamers,

Talk about another wild week of Dreamin' logged in the books.

ANNOUNCEMENT

I have finally been able to shed the 1_0 from my user name and channel on Twitch and will be known as GeneralAndrews going forward. With this stress of my chest I am overcome with a feeling of elation. We continue to move forward Dreamers, day by day, week by week, month by month.

QUICK OVERVIEW OF LAST WEEK'S DREAMIN'

STRESSED SATURDAY :

Was quite rough again as it is looking less and less likely we will survive the 16 death threshold of the Bloodmoon challenge. Sitting at 7 deaths with only a few Apprentice bosses defeated has me leery of successful completion of our current challenge. We finished the night with a few more Necromancer% but the RNG gods were not with us on this evening.

SPEEDRUN SUNDAY :

Was AMAZING! I did not plan to grind out TMNT IV : Turtles in Time solo Any% Normal runs for 5+ hours but that's exactly what we ended up doing and it turned out wonderfully marvelous at the end. We escaped the evening with a new monster PB and a time of 21:18.

We eventually moved on to Mega Man 2 Normal, zipless speedruns and had some really good paces that did not develop into much. One run that was on the cusp of awesome sauce was foiled in the Wily 5 level (the one with all the boss re-fights) as Air Man cared little for the pace we had a brewing.

Yet, the real MVP of the night stemmed from the energy you Dreamers provided. Be it new Dreamers, old Dreamers, Dreamers that spend day and night dedicated to being in the channel, it was absolutely astonishing and uplifting to have so much positive energy oozing all over. Thank you.

TURTLE POWER MONDAY :

Turtle Power Mondays was a sad day for most of the Dreamers as their beloved Dospostmann was finally eliminated from the P4PMarathon tournament with a loss to the hands of dpwhale 23:50 to 25:28.

Unfortunate deaths on Skull and Crossbones plus the finishing death on Starbase is what forced Dospostmann to use a continue and it erased the thin lead he possessed during the run. Normally the yellow foot soldiers do not cause such a problem for Posty, but on this day it was different. The rest of the evening had us improving our Sum of Best on Co-op Any% Normal but we couldn't piece together a complete run and ended up short by eve's end.

ANIME NIGHT :

The Dandiest guy in space and maybe in all of anime?

Quite possible, but also not, baby. The antics and writing of the show continues to throw the audience into a hoopin' and hollerin' frenzy to downright confusion. Thanks to all the back and forth this show has to offer all I can do is laugh at how dandy wacky humor like this is.

The first episode of the night was a doozy. "I'm Never Remembering You, Baby" has the trio attempting to turn in and cash in on a very interesting alien. This alien is supposedly a memory-altering alien, yet after attempting to turn it in they soon learn that they've been duped into rescuing and returning her to her home planet, baby.

The beginning of the episode says it all as Scarlet, who has become quite impatient with Dandy, tell him to show her what is inside the red box; however, Dandy warns her that if Scarlet opens the red box they will forget about what is inside. Thus, a mini scuffle breaks out fighting over the box staying closed versus opening it and then the Dandy story begins, baby.

Tonight we return to another edition of Retro Fridays with more co-op speedruns of Chip 'N Dale : Rescue Rangers with sinister1 and then part two of the evening will be the beginning of our complete 100% playthrough of Illusion of Gaia.
