The Grape Invasion

Dino was half asleep in his race car shaped bed when he heard a loud crash come from outside his window.
“Holy... no Mom don’t play my drums” he mumbled in his stupor.
His sister Adra sat up in her pink canopied bed across the room.
“ Dino! Did you hear that?” She jumped out of bed and ran towards the window “ Lookee ! Lookit! It’s on fire!” She shouted gleefully
Dino was wide awake now thanks to all Adra’s shouting. He got up and puttered over to the window. His eyes lit up as he saw what seemed like a small baseball with smoke and smouldering flames billowing around it.
The two children looked at each other and decided to go have a better look at this strange occurrence in their backyard.
They slipped on their shoes and grabbed some flashlights.
Tiptoeing silently across the hall and past their parent’s room they slipped into the kitchen and opened the back door that led to the backyard.
As they stepped out onto the grass, a little voice said “ Greetings , earth children, we are from a far and distant planet called Graponia “ Dino looked around and saw nothing “ Down here earthling ! “ came the little voice again.
Dino looked down to see a small grape with tiny legs and arms wave at him. The grape had large eyes and a small smiling mouth!
“ Hello , you are aliens!” Said Dino finally
“ We are Grapeons , and we come in search of the legendary juicer!”
Dino wondered why aliens would build space traveling ships and come all the way here to earth for a juicer. Maybe they wanted to die?
So Dino and Adra brought the funny little alien to the kitchen and showed him the juicer.
“ It is everything we were told it would be!” Said the little Grapeon.
Dino didn’t quite know what else to do, perhaps they were going to try and take over earth?
Quickly and without quite thinking about it, he popped the alien into the juicer and flipped the on switch .
In seconds the alien had been reduced to pulp and the whole invasion possibility was over!
Dino and Adra went back to sleep knowing that they had saved the world and hopefully there would not be an entire fleet of sour Grapeons in their UFOs surrounding earth. That would need a whole new set of juicers and kids.
