What a great story @randomwanderings, especially for your first kick at the can in writing fiction! I'm thinking it's something you should continue :)
Thanks Lynn! Happy you liked it. It was definitely fun writing it. Have had so many ideas build up in my hear while doing other things. Perhaps it is time to put them somewhere other than my head.
You're most welcome! I agree, yes you should get them out of your head and onto paper. The beauty of fiction is that if it is a good enough idea, it continues to stew and become even better in there :) The flip side is that there seems to be so much more of ourselves that become vulnerable when writing fiction compared to prose; I think that's why critique can be so difficult!
You've got my support if you ever decide to "get more out of your head" :)
