If you can only bring one thing when you have to flee your planet, why would you bring... well, that sounds like a prompt for a story contest! I love this - with so few words, you bring Grandpa to life, and the young ones, we hope, will carry on his legacy, even if they don't seem to be on the road to being as competent and wise as Grandpa. I hope they memorized and internalized and will retell his stories. LOVE this!
