Golden - Writers Block Poetry Contest Week 2
Hi, I’d like to share my poem, written for The Writers’ Block Poetry Contest: Week 2 by @thewritersblock
The poem is inspired by James Wright’s “Lying in a Hammock at William Duffy’s Farm in Pine Island, Minnesota”
Golden
Heat is thick and heavy around me and the sun is
Golden.
And through the gold I sweat out tears
A salty taste on my cheeks.
In her eyes I tried to cling to
Raindrops.
The way it used to feel
When we were
Golden.
And I can’t shake it
Even as the wind chills me to the bone
And I stare out past the plains
Of everything I thought I knew.
I turn my back
And press my eyelids shut.
I walk away.
From the world that is emptied of gold.

D'oro
Il caldo attorno a me si fa pesante e denso, ed il sole
E' d’oro
E tramite l’oro espello lacrime
Un sapore di sale sulle mie guance.
Nei suoi occhi provai ad aggrapparmi
A gocce di pioggia.
Il modo in cui ci sentivamo
Quando eravamo
D’oro
E non riesco a liberarmene
Anche quando il vento mi gela le ossa
E fisso lo sguardo fuori oltre le pianure
Su tutto ciò che credevo di sapere.
Volto le spalle
E premo le mie palpebre chiuse.
Vado via.
Da un mondo svuotato d’oro.
La nostra lingua è molto bella👍
Anche quella inglese però può evocare immagini, come una magia

Grazie etn0, hai ragione. Sarebbe bello se anche il gruppo italiano promuovesse qualche contest di poesia o scrittura.
Bella poesia @steemotion, purtroppo nel nostro gruppo solo in pochi scrivono poesie quindi un contest per ora non mi sembra ancora il caso.
hai ragione, ma diventeremo grandi...ci vorrà un po' di tempo ma arriverà il momento
...e torneremo a brillare per legge della vita...o d'AlChimìa...
