Dear Brain - Writer's Block Poetry Contest Week 4

Dear Brain, are you still up there?
I can hear you cry in pain every single day
Forgive me for causing you to need constant repair
For all this pointless destruction , I know I must someday pay

Dear Heart, I feel you beating softer every hour
Please tap into the pool of brain-fueled power
Kiss and make up with my dear medulla oblongata
So my Soul can survive yet another day in this existence

For no matter how hard I try to end this cycle
I find myself back at square one, spinning
Making the past a new page to bravely tackle
I find my end nose to nose with my beginning
