An Unstable Mind - Writers Block Poetry Contest Week 1
The things I see, not in their places,
The monchrome room shifts and chases,
Strapped to a bed with ribbon laces,
The fear I see in their faces,
As I stare past them at blank spaces,
My arguments come in fast cases,
Responses are slow from these white braces,
The scars that show, are the defaces,
They come from lack of childhood embraces,
The arguments I have displaces,
The memories, the syrup erases.
I like the last detail with the syrup. Very lyrical. Nice stuff!
