The Friendship Is Over - Writers Block Poetry Contest Week 1

Battling with your different preferences,
Like both of you seemed flawless.
Each side has a different story,
Having no sincere affinity.

And then rage took over,
Saying our friendship is over.
Voice became louder,
In this anger, calmness won’t cover.

Disregarding the friendship
As the pride interceded.
And then both got used to it,
Until the friendship got neglected.

The foundation has weakened,
As the bond got broken.
The discord became harder,
And the friendship did not win over.
