Marvel Inhumans Review
I feel this show was such a missed opportunity. There are a lot of reasons why this show disappointed many, reasons like really bad villain, mediocre acting, everything was just awkward, but it was still worth a watch in my opinion if you like Marvel comic book universe. Even though nothing was ever connected to Agents of Shield or any Avengers movies it is the first "real" cinematic look at Inhumans and their moon city of Attilan and iconic characters like Black Bolt, Medusa and huge teleporting dog Jockjaw.
Big part of the show, however, was happening on earth and Attilan scenes are just some indoor weird rooms where Maximus, the villain had his maniacal talks, just poorly written character, I don't know what were the writers thinking with that guy. They've messed up Medusa's power with her hair where early in the show she lost the hair, and the whole point of her character was just gone. Black Bolt was quiet and even though he could of stopped the whole charade at any time, he just stood there doing nothing, it was all just prolonged and unnecessary. Other Inhuman characters like Karnak, Gorgon, Triton and Crystal were just decent. Karnak had some nice scenes and he was my favorite character of the show, actor Ken Leung did a nice job there. Everyone else was just not that memorable.
In the end it was worth to watch once and forget about it, I don't know if this is the end of Marvel Inhumans, judging by all the bad press it might be over. For me it is 6/10.
Just for this occasion I will mention a Free to Play MMO ARPG Marvel Heroes Omega where you have a playable Black Bolt, so you can at least play with this character if you like him and you can't stand the tv show.

It was okay for one season. They really could've made more from this. Such a shame though :(
Since I saw the trailer, it did not catch my attention and I assumed it was going to be a failure. It's a pity, Inhumas has a pretty good story in the comic world.
Yes, 7k years old moon base screams cool, but not in this depiction of the Inhumans.
as a big fan of agents of shield this show totally sucked to me. everything is so stupid. the whole story is stupid.... even they couldn't put a cool style for the teleporting scene. so many inhumans and they uses their guns to fight, not their power which is so weird. the part where medusa was fighting with only her hair was totally idiotic. the most idiotic thing was that they flew from moon because of a inhuman who doesn't have any power. how did that happen.....
the series is lame
There are more holes in the story than the swiss cheese. Best to turn off the logic and reasoning and try to find some good points of the show.
i think the only good point about this show is that, this is the kind of show that you don't like but still you want to see it. so yeah, i watched all 8 episode....
wanted to see it but i saw the reviews and gave up, i agree with you this was a missed opportunity, i grew up with this charactors and inhumans are as big as the ex-men , especially black bolt in the recent comics is part of the illuminati with tony stark, black panther dr strange and professor Xavier
There is always something cooking in marvel universe. It is a shame this cool story got screwed up.
