Lost in Space Review
Lost in Space is another binge worthy Netflix show. This is a Science Fiction at it's best, very high end detailed high budget production, you almost feel like you're watching a 9h movie made for cinemas. The story is based on the source material from the 60s and the movie that came out in 1998 about the family lost in space.
The core of the show are the Robinson family members each with their own quirks, strengths and weaknesses, the chemistry between every member of the family is great, that part carries the story very well. The planet they are stranded on is filled with dangers, environmental, organic, everything is deadly as you might expect from a SF flick. Space ship, tech and gadgets found inside are all very cool, but later on the robot takes all the glory. You will never know what his goal is until the end, that part I will leave you to find out.
Everything is connected and the story picks up the pace once the new dangers are introduced, needles to say it will keep you hooked until you finish watching it. You might ask yourself is it possible that everything is that good in this show, and you would be right, there are standard pitfalls seen in almost every show, a dumb kid syndrome, few situations where there is a plot hole so let's make up some dangerous situation to fill up the time. The villain is very annoying and pointless, I feel the show would work nice even without that needless person.
All in all this a very cool SF show with some flaws, but nothing too big to keep you from watching it. For me it is very easy to recommend you to watch this, specially if you're a fan of Science Fiction, all the cool kids will watch this, with a soundtrack like this who wouldn't. 9/10
