I agree that most TV is trash. It sucks that the great shows get cancelled after the first season while bad shows just created for mindless programming get season after season of air time.

Yeah. Luckily we have a new paradigm in the form of Netflix, which allows for something closer to a true market for TV shows and where the public can more directly give their voice on which shows should be allowed to continue and which should be cancelled.
