Mrs. Maisel, season 5 episode 1: getting tired?

The episode starts with a flash forward to 1981 where we see her daughter, completely messed up in a shrink's office. Back in the 1960s, we see Suzie trying to book Miriam on the Gordon Ford show. We also hear that Moishe and Shirley are getting divorced, and Joel is going to get married and have a child (or is he?) He gets drunk on that latter news and starts messing with his club and hte Chinese mafia in his basement.

I don't know if it's because it's been a while I watched season 4, but this episode didn't feel as interesting. We barely saw Miriam perform, and her hypothermia didn't feel it brought much, except maybe disdain for her children - which lingered on, apparently. I did like the glimpse at the JFK airport before it got its modern name. Oh the simpler days...

I hope there will be more action in the following episodes.
