#9 TV shows: Game of Throne 3/3 - Are you the alien who is not watching it already???

After a short break… Lots of late work to do, I finally going to release my third and final part about Game of Thrones concerning the actors of the TV Show. But only the male actors as I already did the actress on Part 2 and explained the synopsis on Part 1

So fasten your seatbelt and there you go for the main actors of GoT. Of course there are a LOT of actors on this show and I won’t be able to talk about them all, but here you have some of them who are the most important for the plot lines of the show.

Kit Harington, aka Jon Snow

The real hero of the show in my opinion. Few actors are present from GoT day one and still alive after 7 seasons.. He is one of them!
Jon Snow is the real hero, he incarnate the « good » hero in this show, the man you want to be in your dreams about war, dragons, sex and alcohol … Hmmm am I going to far? Well, you see the point! He is the bastard son that Ned Stark would have had with a servant. He is an agile fighter in the Night’s Watch. But he will soon realize that this guard has lost a lot of its splendor. The splendor once told in legends, and to be honest, it is mainly composed of thieves, rejects from society and exiled men. At first when he entered the guard he was a little bit closed towards his new companions. But he managed to make friends with some of them : Edd, Grenn and Pypar, but mainly with Sam Tarly, who we will talk about later.
Kit, the actor not the car, is a great actor. He has become a big and renown actor thanks to Game of Thrones. Of course he did other roles, but as of today, this is the role that probably changed his life… well at least changed its status. He began his career with theatre and that was what he was destined for before they discover him on a GoT casting. Then he was offered the main role on the Pompei movie in 2014, but the movie was not the super production expected.
Anyway, Jon snow is a great character of Game of Thrones, and Kit Harington play the role at perfection… Eager to see the next season ;)

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, alias Jaime Lannister

Ahhhh Jaime Lannister, quite a character! I don’t know what to think about this character, and I warn you right now about the roller coaster his which he will led you all… One day you will hate him so much, arrogant, bossy, just annoying in general. The day after you will see him in another manner, sensitive, loving, caring, you will appreciate him a lot… Hard to tell. One sure thing, he has great valors, well.. Except the fact that he is in love with her twin sister, but who is perfect???? :)
On the other hand he is the only one of his family that actually appreciate his younger brother Tyrion. As for him, he is the favorite son of his father Tywin, Lord of Casterly Rock. Against his father’s will he engaged himself in the personnel guard of Aerys II Targaryen, the mad king, where he is quickly adored knight due to his exceptional skills with swords. Due to this fact he cannot inherit the legacy of his family Casterly Rock, and his father blame him for that. Oh yeah, he is really the fathernof the three childs of her sister, not the king Baratheon, and only Tyrion knows about this secret.
Nikolaj is a great danish actor, he played in many many movies, the list is pretty impressive. To be exact, GoT did not make him in contrary of many actors of the Show. He played in movies such has Black Hawk Down (Ridley Scott), Rembrandt, Kingdom of Heaven, Oblivion or Gods of Egypt more lately.

Peter Dinklage or you might say: Tyrion Lannister

He has many nicknames in the Show, the Imp, the Gnome or the Dwarf depending of the circumstances. But despite all those mean and awful names, Tyrion is one of the most important character of the whole TV Show. As you can imagine, and as I said before, he is the rejected, protecting himself in alcohol, prostitutes and intelligence. Because, yes Tyrion is a very smart person, and present as such. He master the art of conversation, persuasion, advice and counsel. He is a smart little man, always finding is way through a lot of people that do not like him, despise him at the highest rank.
He is the youngest of the Lannister family, younger brother of Cersei and Jaime. He is a small man, and is blamed for the death of her mother, who died giving him birth. Underestimated by his father, and totally hated by her sister, he managed to find a way through life despite all of this. Only Jaime considered him with respect and affection, feelings shared with and by Tyrion.
Well ok, he is a dwarf, he is not very very powerful, but be careful, he is a good fighter, he has an agile mind, very cynical, and often used his underestimated status to beat his adversity. But well, a simple proof of that would be that despite the world he lived him, he always managed to encounter a powerful situation, and one of the most important thing, even if I spoil a little bit: he is still alive…
Peter Dinklage has a very complex character to play in Game of Thrones., and he animate this last with passion and you can see it… It is difficult to « not » see him as Tyrion in real life. But be careful he has a very big movie hit on his career.
His first big role was in « the station agent » where he was nominated for the independent Spirit Award. But he also played in surviving Eden, The Baxter, Death at a funeral, The chronicle of Narnia, Xmen, and coming in 2018: The avengers.
A great actor, a great character in the show, I love this guy!

I can talk about many other characters, but there are virtually no end about it, like John Bradley-West aka Sawmill Tarly, who play one of Jon Snow best friends in the Night’s Watch guard, Liam Cunningham alias Sir Davos Seaworth, playing a brave and fierce full knight. But we also have Jorah Mormont, Theon Greyjoy, Sandor Clegane, will be too long to explain them all. But well, if I can see a real envy from my reader to follow more in detail my review, why not.

In anyway, here I conclude my 3 part review of Game of Thrones THE TV Show of nowadays. The on a and only show that any aficionado of Television series cannot miss. You will go through the whole emotional panel with this show, one of the greatest of all time. You will feel pain, fear, love, hate, happiness, satisfaction, anger, joy, surprise, astonishment, despair, hope, soooooo many more things, it never stops!
