How to create a GIF from a Youtube Video
Hello Steemers, today I will be showing you how to create GIF from a Youtube Video. So lets get started
First go to https://giphy.com/
Next click on the Create button on the top menu or just go directly to this link: https://giphy.com/create/gifmaker
In here you have different choices, you can drag and drop your video files, you can paste the video url, youtube url or a vimeo video url. We are gonna use a youtube video for this tutorial. Now paste in the youtube url on the text box.
After that the video will now load, you will see the gif preview and a couple of options, the first option is the Start Time, The video start time where you will set the starting of the GIF. So we will pick 00:30 for the start time, this will depend on how long the video you picked is. Next option is the GIF duration this will be the duration of the GIF before it loops and repeats again, we will set a duration of 4 seconds for this. You can then add caption and tags for your gif.
After you are satisfied with the GIF, check the terms of service checkbox and click on the Create GIF button to generate your GIF
After your GIF is successfully created, you will be then sent to page where you can download, copy the link of your GIF or embed it.
Now here is the result of our GIF from a youtube video:
