Goat Feeding Tutorial!
We have 4 bottle babies at the moment. 50 babies on the ground. Last kidding season we had 13 bottle babies. So not too bad at the moment. This tutorial shows how to make a bottle for a kid, and 4 cute little kids who need a home! We use colostrum replacer the first day, then change over to milk replacer and some electrolytes. 2 days ago they wouldn't even stand on their own. They had great mothers, but the mom's udder was so engorged that the babies couldn't feed. Hope you enjoy!

They are so dang cute! I am glad they are going to make it! It is so difficult when they are little and you know they aren't going to make it. But these guys look pretty robust now.

We had to do this to a couple of our sheep last winter that got rejected by the moms or the moms weren't able to provide enough milk. The little ones really got a kick out of feeding them. Great experience.

Thank you! Sadly we had triplets that wouldn't nurse today. So the number has gone up😫 i hated taking them from their mama, but they had no will to live.
I hope they all make it. Just a little help to get them started is sometimes all it takes. It doesn’t make being a farmers wife easy. 🐓🐓
