How to set up Ethereum wallet (ERC20-compatible)
For this tutorial, We will use MetaMask wallet. you can also use Myetherwallet if you want
Lets start
First install MetaMask:
1. Go to MetaMask website : https://metamask.io
2. Select your browser of choice. but in this tutorial we will used Chrome.
3. Click ‘Add to Chrome’
4. Click ‘Add extension'
You have installed the MetaMask Chrome extension.
5. Click on the Metamask extension.
6. Click ‘Accept’ twice'
7. Create a 'secure password'
8. Save your 'seed words'
9. Now that you have safely stored your seed words, to continue just click “I’ve copied it somewhere safe”
You have now successfully created your MetaMask account!
10. To open your account menu. Just click the three dots highlighted below.
11. To view your available balance Just used 'etherscan'
Here, you can see the amount of ETH and how many tokens you have in your MetaMask wallet.
