How can you make pictures like this with photoshop?
Here's the answer:

This is how the picture is going to look like.

• you must import both pictures
• make a selection of the mountain
• make a mask on the mountain level
  
  

• duplicate the picture of the mountain and reduce the opacity

• now you can play around with different looks
