RE: [Tutorial] Voting in the post HF19 days - what should you do? ☑️

in #tutorial8 years ago

Few corrections; I think you have made a type when you said:

Power to recover from those 4 votes

You've put the same number everywhere :)

Also on the vote weight, if you are voting more your vote weight should be lesser (assuming you are going to vote linearly). Your formula => if I made 40 votes I should keep my slider at 10% which I think beats the purpose of the slider. The more you vote, the lesser the slider.

However, I would rather decide my vote weight based on the post itself. But I assume you meant this formula to be used for eSteemers, rather than for folks with the slider...

Sort:

I calculated those figures so that you're vote weight recovers every 24 hours regardless of how many times you vote....as long as your slider (vote weight) matches the number of votes in the figures above.

Ok... I was only referring to the use of the number "4" across all lines like what you did here:

If you vote 4 times a day at 100% it will take 24 hours for your Voting Power to recover from those 4 votes.
If you vote 8 times a day at 50% it will take 24 hours for your Voting Power to recover from those 4 votes.

Instead it should be:

If you vote 4 times a day at 100% it will take 24 hours for your Voting Power to recover from those 4 votes.
If you vote 8 times a day at 50% it will take 24 hours for your Voting Power to recover from those 8 votes.

Yeah I fixed that already!
