A Easy way to Digital Draw / Micro Tutorial - Paintool Sai

(The First Finished Draw)

Well, what we need to do first it's a Traditional Sketch on Paper, Scan it, open it on the program a let's draw. Here a introduction:

1.- The Traditional Draw / Sketch

_ Here we need to develop a idea, design the content of our heads, ¿How we can do? With a hand & a pencil (and Practice), here is a ugly one, I placed here Al what I need to draw, all object a their position, the bodies & the scenario on perspective. All this we can learning reading a "How To drawing" book, so don't worry, we will improve with practice.

2.- Lineart & Base Colors

_ Scan or the a photo of the draw, then open the picture on the program you will use (I use for this Paintool Sai). The first step on the draw will be the Lineart, basically it are the Lines, ones we have the lines we can place the "Base Color", it are the first color of all the objects on the draw, like the background colors. This about a Apple, his color is red but it really have more colors than just red, but we say "the apples are red" so think like that, base color are this, the general color of all things, so apply they in a Layer below of the Lineart.

3.- Bodies Full Coloring

Ones we have placed the Base Colors we can use a tool called "Block transparency" to avoid fill out the Base Color (like when we are kids on kindergarten haha), here we use a Brush with especial adjust, we need to know the opacity and enable the option "blend" available on Paintool Sai's Brush, then we can use all the tones that we need to give lights effects to objects & bodies!

4.- Objects

_ Like the others steeps we need to give to all the objects the Lineart & the Base Color, then give Full Color to everything!

5.- The Scenario
_ Give color to your draw! The background will be placed in a Layer on the bottom of all layer, you can use all brush you need

6.- Lights & other effects

_ To finish our draw we need to correct all these little things that make our draw ugly. Improve it a give all that you have!

And to finish, extra sun lights (if this are required) you can do sun flares, the shine of the fire or a Tourchlight, a light led, whatever. Just Try!
