Curso de git #4 - Qué es Github ?
Hola a todos! espero que se encuentren bien.🤗 🤗
En este post les explicare que es github y para que nos sirve cuando usamos git.
Qué es Github?
Bueno básicamente github es una plataforma de software que usamos para almacenar todos nuestros proyectos que usan git, es decir si yo tengo un proyecto ej: Mi Steemitel cual lo he estado desarrollando con git, y tiene todos sus cambios y diferentes commits, yo puedo publicar este proyecto en github para diferentes cosas, tales como que otros desarrolladores puedan ver todo el flujo de trabajo que se ha llevado con el proyecto, o que otras personas que esten interesadas en mi proyecto y quieran agregar cosas nuevas lo puedan hacer, fácilmente ellos obtienen una copia de mi proyecto y pueden desarrollar sus nuevas mejoras y proponerme a mi como dueño del proyecto, aplicar esas mejoras, eso es algo que se hace por medio de un pull-request que ya veremos más adelante.
Lo que quiero que entiendan es que github es una plataforma muy usada hoy en día en la cual están alojados miles de proyectos con todo su código fuente y podemos acceder a el, si el proyecto es público.
Podremos aplicar nuestras mejoras o crear nuestra nueva aplicación en base al proyecto que hemos clonado.
Algo que hay que tener muy en cuenta, y que muchas personas tienden a confundir, es que git no es github, git es el software que nos ayuda a llevar los cambios y de nuestro proyecto, y github es la plataforma que nos permite subir nuestros proyectos que usan git.
Es algo que debemos conocer y ya empezaremos con los comandos básicos de git.
