Step by Step Guide on How To Add A Profile Picture on Steemit.....Using Imgsafe(Screenshots Included)

I know this might sound something simple for old people here,but hey it isnot simple for everyone!

When you are pomoter of Steemit(I am promoting Steemit in my country Uganda),you are always asked countless questions like these below.

How do i withdraw the money?

How do i comment?

How do i get followers?

How do i add a photo?

How do i post?

The questions are really countless.

It is my responsiblity to help them learn and grow on Steemit.

I am asked all these questions because it is me who is introducing Steemit to them!

All these questions can be aswered by doing a simple Googel "How to" search!

So today another new person asked me this similar question of how to add a profile pic and i decided to solve the problem one and for all by writing a post.

In this post i will be showing with screenshots on how to add a profile pic and i will always refer any new user to this post.

Procedure

Let me get to the point and stop all the talking and show you how this is done.

I have screenshots to make the whole process simpler.

1. Google search for the word imgsafe
   

2. Click on it asn you will be taken to their website as shown below.
   

3. Click on Register since you are a new user.
   
   Enter your email and password for this new webiste(Please do not enter your email password!)

4. After successful reistration,you will be directed to the home page as below.
   

5. If you click on my uploads,it will show obviously no images!(try it out hahahahha)
   

6. Click on upload and drag your image here and copy that link we shall use the link in the final stages of this post
   

7. Go back to your Steemit account and click on your where you photo is supposed to be uploaded and choose settings.
   

8. Choose settings
   

9. Now copy the link from procedure 6 above and paste it here where it says
   "Profile Picture URL"
   You will be asked your active key when you click on "Save"
   

10. The profile picture will be saved in a short while depending on how fast your internet connection is.
    

You can follow the same procedure to add your cover image photo.
