SKIN BLENDING TUTORIAL

I made a tutorial!!! Never done one before. It's quick little 5 min video on how to do skin blending in Photoshop while keeping your texture.

Don't mind the poor speech skills I'm a slow thinker thus words don't come out as smooth or thought out as I would like...photos are more my forte ;)

Perhaps if I make more videos it will help push that comfort zone!

on high pass i am adjusting to have minimum of the crazi color, not sure is it the right thing to do but :) and i always forget what blending mode to use, now i will probably remember the vivid light

Yeah try hard light or vivid light, whichever works best for your photo. I find that hard light looks strange on the edges of the face and the shadow of the nose, so as long as you don't brush those areas hard light will look fine also.

Very cool! Never really put skin in the blender before, but I'll have to give it a shot!

I might have to re-watch this video to remember all the steps but I'll definitely try this out next portrait session that it makes sense in! Thanks for the vid!

Okay... I think it is safe to say you have scared me off... lol. I'm really keen to learn these other programs but they seem SO complicated... very pretty though! : )
