TUTORIAL: How to Encrypt Memo/Messages in Steemit (Encrypt Private Messages in Memo with this simple tutorial)

Encrypted messages will only be readable to the SENDER and the RECEIVER. This is helpful if you are going to send sensitive messages on Steemit.

Encrypted messages will not be readable on the STEEM blockchain.

I'll be sending an encrypted message to my wife @chenee as a sample

It's a very simple process, just add # at the start of your message on the Memo field before submitting.

Step 1

Go to your Wallet, on Steem Dollar click the arrow down to the right just beside the amount of your Steem Dollar.

Step 2

Type the receiver, input any amount, and at the Memo field just make sure the first you type is # then followed by your messages, then Submit.

IT'S DONE!
