TUTORIAL: How to Enable Front Panel Audio Jack if it is Not Working - Windows 10
This tutorial is applicable to desktop computer with an ASUS Motherboard with built-in Realtek HD Audio. This is done using Windows 10. Same process also applies to Windows 7. If you have Windows 8 or 8.1 the process should almost be the same.
Step 1
Click "Cortana", type "Control Panel" at the search box, click "Control Panel"
Step 2
Click "Hardware and Sound"
Step 3
Click "Realtek HD Audio Manager"
Step 4
Click the gear button at the right most corner
Step 5
Click "Option"
Step 6
The "AC97 Front Panel" should have checked. If it does not checked, click it to have it checked, then click Ok
