I found another Box Turtle today. This time while in town.
No luck finding any snakes today but I did come across this little guy. He was a handsome fella too.
Today I was in town when I found him. I was taking a stroll through the park. The rain let up long enough that I could actually go out and go for a walk. It rained all day today. It wasn't long after making my way to the park that I saw him. He was right in the middle of one of the trails. There were others around but no one stopped to check him out but me. I guess I'm the only moron that had to stop and gauck at this little guy taking pictures of him so I could make this blog. So far I think this is the 3rd Box Turtle I found so far this year. I've seen plenty of turtles crossing the road this year but this is the actual 3rd turtle I was able to stop and take pictures of.
After taking a few pictures I put him back down and he just scurried away in the plants in the picture above to get away from me. I'm sure his home was the park finding him there. The park was pretty big so he should be fine. Being in the middle of town I hope he stays out of the neighborhood roads. Box Turtles are territorial so it isn't good to move them too far away from where you find them. They get lost and lose their turtle families. Who knows, maybe this turtle was once found by someone else and they let him go in the park because they thought it was a safe place for him? Who knows. Either way I'm sure he will be fine.

Rainbow Man! turtles are cute and handsome? that's news to me but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. so do you find yourself taking your camera everywhere for steemit posts? lol
Howdy Jonboy! I haven't gone anywhere without a camera since 2012. You never know what kind of action you are going to find these days no matter where you are at. It is fun having a youtube channel.

I'm not making any more videos for youtube. If I do they will be unlisted so I can share them here on Steemit. So if you aren't following me here on Steemit, you can't keep up with what I'm doing :-). The Speckled King snake video I used youtube only because I haven't figured how to blog using d.tube yet. Did you watch the video of the King Snake?
Rainbow Man! yes I'm following you here on steemit but I didn't watch the King snake one I don't think. they creep me out. does dtube have support that you can contact for help? I know lots of people have trouble with them.
Not really, I still have issues with Dtube. Lots of us do. I'm behind on making videos. I'm sure the more I use Dtube the more I will start figuring it out.
