Important turning point today - June 21, 2017

Folks, today is Summer Solstice and this invariably represents a turning point. This is the longest day with the shortest night. This is also a day that is revered by the occultist. It is said that at 12.28 PM Indian Standard time, even the shadow disappears for a brief moment when one stands in the sun. This is symbolic but science explains this by the fact that the sun at this moment is exactly over your head and hence not able to cast the shadow.
Anyway, that was just an interesting tit-bit.

As you have been reading my blogs, I had mentioned that precious metals would be hammered and then go sideways for several days. Well, the good news is that we may start seeing trend reversal now - first slowly then with a more aggressive pace and eventually becoming extremely volatile by the time we hit winter solstice. Precious metals also see increased demand from India during this period as the marriage season and other festivals such as Dhanteras and Diwali. This is a major purchase item by all alike. You see, India and China view gold and silver as the true store of wealth.

Bitcoin and Ethereum were down in last several days. Ethereum was down almost 13% in just last week. I expect the turnaround to start now. This is also due to the fact that India has recently legalized bitcoin as a legal tender for trade.

Stocks, however, are going to have the trend reversed in the downward direction. Volatility in bonds will increase which is directly linked to stocks volatility.

Last but not the least, we may hear the drums of war beating louder and louder.

So in summary, our pain is going to start to ease now.
