I havent been out with a blog for some time now, Ive been on vacation and a wedding in Marmaris last week so no time for blogging there. Allso I have been spending the whole time with my girlfriend so no weed for a week for me and I feel great!
Except for the 5 hour flight from Arlanda Stockholm to the airport in Istanbul, and then later the flight to Dalaman the vacation was great. I also had the vacation girlfriend fight that we all love(I hope you feel the Irony), but except that the week was great.
Our friends that were getting married picked us up at Dalaman airport and we had an hour drive to our hotel right by the mediteranian sea.
We were staying at Posseidon hotel the whole week and had brakefast and dinner buffe for 30 euros for both of us , drinks not included. The buffe was really good and tasted very homemade. Unfortunately I dont have pictures of the hotel or the beach but It was nice. This is 20 minutes outside Marmaris, I dont remember what the name of the village was but there were almost no tourist.![20170913_174503.jpg]

An old road back to Marmaris:20170913_180705.jpg

Me and my girlfriend and 10 other friends had an all-day boat trip with a private chef, that made really good food, totally for about 500 euros including drinks(not alcohol though) . On this boat trip we actually saw 2 turtles, one big one that was swimming about 50 meters from our boat and then a smaller one when we were snorkelling. They told us that if we were lucky we also could see some dolphins, but that unfortunately never happened. I had the honor of taking a pic with all these beautiful successful ladies. Guess wich one is mine :)

We also took a day trip for 2 persons to Rhodes in Greece for about 60 Euros, we got that trip a bit cheaper because my friend knew the the guy at the agency. The trip to Rhodes was with a big catamaran that unfortunately had that diesel smell mixed up with the smell from the leather seats inside. The last 20 minutes I felt really bad but I do get seasick really easy. I barely felt the waves I must admit.

Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese islands in terms of land area and also the island group's historical capital. It was an hour from Marmaris with the catamaran and the historical richness of the island strikes you right away with the display of the citywall.

The Colossus of Rhodes

Colossus-of-Rhodes.jpg

Was a statue of the Greek titan-god of the sun Helios, erected in the city of Rhodes, on the Greek island of the same name, by Chares of Lindos in 280 BC.
One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It was destroyed during the earthquake of 226 BC, and never rebuilt.

In the 8th century BC, the island's settlements started to form, with the coming of the Dorians, who built the three important cities of Lindos, Ialyssos and Kameiros, which together with Kos, Cnidus and Halicarnassus (on the mainland) made up the so-called Dorian Hexapolis (Greek for six cities).
The Persians invaded and overran the island, but they were in turn defeated by forces from Athens in 478 BC. We persians obviously have been everywhere :)

Rhodes then became a part of the growing empire of Alexander the Great in 332 BC, after he defeated the Persians.
Following the death of Alexander, his generals vied for control of the kingdom.
Three—Ptolemy, Seleucus, and Antigonus—succeeded in dividing the kingdom among themselves. Rhodes formed strong commercial and cultural ties with the Ptolemies in Alexandria. The city developed into a maritime, commercial and cultural center; its coins circulated nearly everywhere in the Mediterranean. Its famous schools of philosophy, science, literature and rhetoric.
In 305 BC, Antigonus, one of the three generals that had among other controll over Phrygia (today Turkey) directed his son, Demetrius, to besiege Rhodes in an attempt to break its alliance with Egypt. He failed and the weapon equipment that was left behind was sold by the Rhodesians and the gold used to build the the colossus of rhodes.

Throughout the 3rd century BC, Rhodes attempted to secure her independence and her commerce, most especially her virtual control over the grain trade in the eastern Mediterranean. Both of these goals were dependent upon no one of the three great Hellenistic states achieving dominance, and consequently the Rhodians pursued a policy of maintaining a balance of power among the Antigonids, Seleucids and Ptolemies.
To this end they employed as leverage their economy and their excellent navy, which was manned by proverbially the finest sailors in the Mediterranean world.
Rhodes successfully carried on this policy through the course of the third century BC, an impressive achievement for what was essentially a democratic state.

In 1306–1310, the Byzantine era of the island's history came to an end when the island was occupied by the Knights Hospitaller. The city wall were built by the Knights Hospitaller of Saint John by enhancing the existing Byzantine walls starting from 1309, the year in which they took possession of the island after a three-year struggle. The defence of different portions of fortifications was assigned to different Langue (tongues) of Knights. The North face was under the rule of the Grand Master, then moving West and South the posts were held by the Langue of France and Alvernia, the Langue of Spain (Spanish and Portuguese), the Langue of Germany (English and German), and the Langue of Italy.

During my stay in turkey this snake was headlining my news.

Jamie Dimon the JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chief Executive Officer called bitcoin a fraud and so on… A few days later my friend sent me this picture with an explanation that JP Morgan was buying up Bitcoin ETF´s in Sweden. This picture is taken at Avanza banks webpage.. This is there most people in Sweden trade their stocks and funds.

So did he actually buy bitcoin "stocks"?

I guess everyone is just trying to gain their wealth like Jamie Dimon. I felt like a boss after buying bitcoin again for only about 900 Euros at 3300 dollar/bitcoin. So me and a friend went to the barbershop. I payed 10 Euros for a haircut, shave, fasial mudmask and facial wax even in my nose and on my ear. So this is after the Barbershop:

This gal makes me look like a rich jew. ;)

The wedding was held the last day of our trip at a really nice hotel with beautiful lobby and rooms but the wedding food was really below the average we had at Posseidon Hotel.

We flew back to Sweden 04.00 in the morning right after the wedding. Love came together in Turkey and again crashed back in Sweden.

Conclusions:
Love Marmaris, go on a boattrip. Visit Rhodos, Let another man take care of you… Buy some bitcoins and Love to friends and family
